                      Overcome Artist block

   The only limits that exist are the ones we put on ourselves. "The best things in life are waiting for you at the exit ramp of your comfort zone" and "every exit and an entry somewhere else". Jump into the void of the unknown and conquer. One cannot be limited if the source is unlimited. Your creativity is also unlimited and only bound by the universe of your imagination that you choose to create.

                               Perspective

   Perspective is the absolute best way to overcome any type of block. When perspective is brought up some may automatically assume from what point of view someone views an object or subject. This is only half of the battle. One can have many different perspectives within themselves.
   Next time a block occurs ask yourself how you are looking at your piece. Would your mom or dad or sister or brother look at it the same way? Of course not. Use someone else's perspective to expand your vision.

                   Put it down and walk away

  When the idea of control is presented most of us don't want to be out of "control". Control is an illusion. Control outside of yourself is the biggest illusion. As an artist, the idea of control and perfection haunts us.
  Only when the idea of control is relinquished is when true control is gained. Put the piece down and start a new project when a block occurs. Watch as your creative juices flow like the Nile.

Meditation 

Meditation is a great way to connect and stay connected to the unlimited source of inspiration that enters through us all. Mediation should be considered a staple of your practice. Put on relaxing music, venture into nature or relax next to the water. Finding and controlling your breath is one of the first true steps to understand what "control" is.

Doodle

Never underestimate the power of a doodle or a sketch. Your true artist self lives there. Put the pencil or pen to the paper and go until you go off. Sketches and doodles are great practice and a great way to express yourself without dear of judgment.
